How does booking actually work?

You send a booking request with your chosen date and number of travellers — this doesn't charge you anything yet. Our team checks availability and confirms with you by WhatsApp or email, usually within a few hours. Once confirmed, you pay a 30% deposit online to secure your spot; the rest is paid to your guide on the day.

Do I have to pay the full price upfront?

Accepted Answer

No. You pay a 30% deposit online once your booking is confirmed. The remaining 70% is paid directly to your guide, in cash or card, on the day of the tour — and it's only charged if the tour actually happens.

What's your cancellation and refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Full refund of your deposit if you cancel within 5 days of booking and the tour is more than 15 days away. A 50% refund once fewer than 15 days remain. No refund within 3 days of departure. Full details are on our Refund Policy page.

How late can I book a tour?

Booking requests close 24 hours before a tour's departure time, to give guides enough notice to prepare.

How small are the groups, really?

Group sizes vary by tour but are capped well below large coach-tour sizes — you'll see the exact minimum and maximum on each tour page.

Do I need a visa to visit Turkey?

That depends on your nationality — we're not able to give personalised visa advice, so please check your government's travel guidance or Turkey's official e-Visa website before booking.

Is travel insurance included?

Accepted Answer

No, travel insurance isn't included in any tour price. We strongly recommend arranging your own before you travel.

What if weather affects my tour (e.g. hot air balloon rides)?

Accepted Answer

Some activities, like hot air balloon flights, are weather-dependent and can be cancelled or rescheduled by the operator with little notice. We flag this on the relevant tour pages under "Good to know."
